K2 Industrial Controls has reached agreement with Inpressure Technologies of Erie, PA to offer its 20,000 psi, 30,000 psi and 60,000 psi rated valves, fittings and tubing in the China market. IPT products are designed for specific usage in the offshore oil exploration and producting, hydraulic, and high pressure test machine markets. K2 Industrial Controls has added one Sales Engineer in Chengdu and one Sales Engineer in Jinan to continue it's geographic coverage of the China market. K2's sales engineer in Chengdu will be responsible for the Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan markets. K2's sales engineer in Jinan will be responsible for the Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, and Hebei markets. Eight months after receiving the Letter of Intent, K2 Industrial Controls International has received the purchase order from Chevron Corporation subsidary, Unocal East China Sea Ltd. for the Chuandongbei Gas Project in China's southwest Sichuan province to supply instrument valves, fittings and tubing. K2ICI will be supplying Hex Valve and SSP Fittings. Hex Valve will be supplying monoball and single block Hexblok valves. SSP will supply instrumentation fittings and tubing. Since the initial award was made last December, the scope of the project was increased substantially and the value of project is upwards of USD 2 million.
All products will be compliant with NACE MR0175 material requirements as the Chuandongbei gas fields are some of the highest sulphur content gas fields in the world. K2 Industrial awarded Dalian Hengli PTA chemical plant project Cincinnati, OH and Dalian, China --July 28, 2011 K2ICI was awarded the pressure regulating valve package by Dalian Hengli Chemical Corporation for their current PTA project. K2 will be supplying Jordan Valve pressure regulators in accordance with the designs and specifications produced by Jingding Engineering in Beijing, China. The value of products in this valve package is USD160K and includes 78 pieces of valves. K2 Industrial awarded CNPC Niger pipeline project Cincinnati, OH --August 10, 2010 K2ICI was awarded the instrument valve package by China National Petroleum Corporation for their current project in the African country of Niger. K2 will be supplying Hex Valve gauge valves as selected by the China Petroleum Pipeline Design Institute in Langfang, Hebei Province, China. The value of products in this valve package is USD125K. This project is associated with an earlier award by CNPC to K2 for the instrument valves supplied to the oil fields in Niger. This project is for the pipelines that will take the oil from the production fields for processing downstream.
K2 Industrial Principals awarded several power plant boiler projects Cincinnati, OH --July 25, 2010 K2ICI manufacturing principals Marwin Valve, Jordan Valve and Hex Valve were awarded several power plant boiler projects by Harbin Boiler Company and Babcock & Wilcox. The total value of products supplied for these projects is USD250K. These power plants will be built in China and India.

K2 Industrial Principals awarded Tazhong I oil field project Cincinnati, OH --November 5, 2009 K2ICI manufacturing principals Marwin Valve, Hex Valve, SSP Instrument Fittings and Bestobell Steam Traps were awarded packages in the Tazhong I oil field project located in the Tarim oil basin in Xinjiang Province, China. The design work for these awards were handled by the China Petroleum Production Design Institute in Chengdu, China. Combined package awards for all K2ICI handled products was USD386K.

Principal Wins Project Bid from Harbin Power Group Cincinnati, OH --August 28, 2009 K2ICI manufacturing principal Richards Industries was awarded the ball valve and control valve package bid for the hot oil fuel system at Harbin Boiler for their project in India at the captive 600MW power plant at Bharat Aluminium. Consisting of automated Marwin Ball valves and Jordan pneumatic control valves, the total package award was USD160K.

K2 Industrial Controls International Ltd. Opens Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise in Dalian FTZ Cincinnati, OH and Dalian, China --August 1, 2009 K2ICI has successfully registered a WFOE based in the Dalian Free Trade Zone which became operational on August 1. The WFOE, called K2 Industrial Controls Equipment (Dalian) Co. Ltd. has registered capital of US$180,000 and has been granted direct import/export authority from the government in China. It has the capability of signing contracts in both Renminbi and foreign currency. The operations currently consist of a 2500 sq. ft warehouse space which is holding USD200K worth of stock to support the customer base and distribution network. In the near future, valve assembly, repair and test bench will be imported from the USA so that repair, light assembly and valve automation work can be done on site. Cincinnati, OH --July 17, 2009 K2ICI manufacturing principal Jordan Valve was awarded the pressure regulator package for China National Oil Offshore Corporation's Jinzhou 25-1 platform project. This project was worth USD180K. These regulators, which include some specials manufactured out of Nickel Aluminum Bronze material will be used on various applications, including the deluge systems that use sea water.

Cincinnati, OH and Shenzhen, China --July 17, 2009 K2ICI manufacturing principal, Marwin Valve, was awarded the ESD ball valve package from Dong Fang Boiler in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. The package was for 120 pcs. of automated ball valves from 1/2" size through 8". The package was worth USD130K. These valves will be used on the natural gas fuel system for Dong Fang's 300 MW boiler. K2 Industrial Controls International Ltd. Concludes GOST-R Certifications for Principal's Products October 2008
Cincinnati, OH and Moscow, Russia -- Through coordinated effort between its Cincinnati and Moscow offices, K2 Industrial Controls International managed the application process and helped its manufacturing principal Richards Industries obtain the GOST-R certification from Russia for its Jordan Valve and Marwin Valve product lines. The application process from start to finish took 4 months time. The GOST-R certifications are good for 3 years from the issuing dates. The GOST-R certification allows Jordan Valve and Marwin Valve now to be imported into the Russian Federation without restrictions. Other countries that also look for GOST certification include Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Jordan Valve is Richards Industries line of self-acting pressure regulators, temperature regulators and pneumatic and electric modulating control valves. Marwin Valve is Richards Industries line of ball valves that include high pressure, high temperature, cryogenic, fire-tested, metal seated and multi-port capabilities. | |
